Episode 5 No ghosts exist

Episode 5
No ghosts exist

At night, the place’s quiet and all fell asleep, in Sam’s room, he gets slowly to his room, gets close to him, then closer and closer in the dark, then wakes him up with his quiet voice.

Sam, Sam, wake up.

Sam jerks up startled awake from his slumber. He looks around to find only Dean by his side waking him up in the dark.

Dean! What you’re doing here? What time is it?

Then he answers back.

Sam, it’s me, I’m Cas.

Sam inclines up in his bed and confused he says.

What? Cas? What’s happening? Why are you here?

Cas replies.

Because of him, Crowley, he’s near, I can feel him.

Sam leaves his bed and utters nervously.

Cas, and Why is he here? Can he control Dean even with your presence inside him?

Cas
Don’t know why he’s here.

Frank
Well, let’s get go, I’ll wake up Frank. If Crowley’s making an appearance we have to get ourselves ready.

Cas and Sam leave the room, and as they get to the hall, they find him standing right there, Crowley, awaiting for them with a wide smirk and then utters.

Hello boys.

Sam gets highly enraged so he gets towards him and pushes him impulsively backwards and says.

You bastard, why are you even here? Do you really think you can escape this? Do you really consider letting you out after what you did to us?

Crowley
Calm down, moose, is that how you treat your guests? Hello Cas, it’s been a long time since we last met.

Cas
If you know I’m here, then for sure you do realize you can’t get to Dean.

Crowley shouting.

I came to take what’s mine. Only came for that.

Sam utterly angry.

Dean’s not yours. Watch your tongue.

Crowley with a grin.

What are you gonna do, dear? Those days when I was addicted to your filthy human blood are already gone. I’m far so much more powerful right now. I do have the blade, remember. As for Dean, I can take him whenever I want to.....and if you truly need it, I can give you a copy of your contract as you wish to read its terms. You already granted me your brother once you signed that contract one of the terms you must have read.

Cas and Sam get stunned, totally shocked, they gaze at one another then Sam turns back to Crowley still dazed by what he’s just listened.

What you’re talking about??

Crowley
The contract you signed states that Dean should be brought back to life just to be my own once he gets better and his wounds healed. You had to read the contract, mate. I know it was quite long and stuffed with terms but that one was its best. Dean’s well now so I’m here to collect what’s mine.

Cas
Your contract’s void and doesn’t matter to us. We won’t be manipulated. Even Sam, he’s not going to hell because you deceived him.

Crowley
As long as Sam’s signature written on it, it’s valid. Why aren’t you letting Dean out, Cas? What are you afraid of? Let him out, maybe he’s got a different opinion from yours given what his brother’s done to him. Sam literally sold him out to me.

Sam couldn’t bare it any longer. He loses his temper and assaults Crowley with whatever power he possesses in rage. He pushes him backwards and cries out.

You, son of a bitch, I’ll kill you.....I swear to God I’ll kill you ....

Crowley giggles and says.

Your rage won’t help, Sam....it’s time for me to reap my possession.....we had to expect my visit sooner or later.

Sam who’s still in rage pushes Crowley firmly backwards for the third time and says.

I wanna know how would you think you’re gonna take him? You won’t lay a hand on him, Crowley.....on my dead body....

At that moment, Frank gets out of his room after hearing their noise and heads to the hall on the other hand Crowley pushes Sam immensely and with that one single push Sam’s body’s struck against the wall then he falls and his head’s hit at the edge of the table which knocks him out to the ground so Cas rushes to him.

Sam

Crowley replies looking at Frank who’s just reached the hall.

Forgive me but he’s the one to blame. Who’s that guest of yours?

Cas
Crowley, get the hell out....LEAVE....

Crowley replies

Well, Cas, I’m leaving, but I’ll be back again to get what’s mine. You won’t be able to shield Dean forever. We didn’t get the chance to officially meet each other, maybe next time. Although it really does intrigue me to know what’s going on; the four of you in one place at the same time! Quite compelling to know the reason of the union!

Crowley vanishes up in no time as he the last words he’s just said looking at Frank who’s immediately after Crowley’s departure hurries towards Sam and Cas saying.

Is he alright?

Cas slightly raises Sam’s head from the floor.

I’ve no idea probably just knocked out. Sam, are you alright? Answer me!
Frank to Cas.

His head got badly hit. Can’t you just heal him?

Cas
I’am getting weaker. I can't heal him, maybe we should take him to the hospital?

Sam starts to wake up again.

Ah...

Frank
He’s waking up....Sam, are you okay? Can you hear us?

Sam
Yeah...ah my head!

Cas
Can you stand up?

Sam
Most probably...I guess!

Cas
Help him out, Frank while I get Dean back. I swear I can sense his worry right now.

Frank replies as he supports Sam up on his feet.

Okay, Sam, now come with me. Just try to stand up.

After a while, Dean’s moving around in the hall totally anxious meanwhile Frank’s sitting by Sam’s side who’s putting an ice bag on his head and leaning on the couch. Dean nervously utters.

And he dared to come over here by himself in such a way, that son of a bitch....we’ve to figure out a way to prevent this from happening again.

Frank
Were you aware right then? I mean did you recognize his presence?

Dean
Yeah, Cas’s not warding me off. I can hear everything happening clearly. About Cas, next time you see him tell him that I’m totally pissed. He’s control over everything and shows up all of a sudden. What if I don’t want him to? This is getting on my nerves.

Frank to Sam

Sam, are you alright, pal?

Sam
A terrible headache I have. What happened? How did I get my head hit?

Dean and Frank stare at one another puzzled then Dean asks to Sam.

Don’t you remember what happened?

Sam
I was asleep. Why? What happened?

Dean angrily.

Awesome...great and now with the amnesia thing!

Frank
Sam, Crowley was here only a little while ago. He pushed you against the wall.

Sam agonized replies.

Crowley?!....yeah Crowley, that criminal we’re trailing.

Frank and Dean again with the bewilderment merging their faces keep gazing at one another then Dean looks back to Sam and nervously proceeds.

Sam, what’s wrong with you?

Frank
Dean, just a sec. Sam, Crowley’s the one trailing us. He’s a demon not a criminal.

Sam grins and comments back.

What did you say? Why you’re telling me this?

Frank
This what? Have I said something wrong?!

Sam slowly tries to get up and says.

Look, guys, I’m alright now, just a headache, don’t worry. Better to head to bed; tomorrow we’ve work to do.

Dean
Work? What work?!

Frank
Sam,wait, are you sure you’re OK? Crowley badly hit you.

Sam
I’m fine. why didn’t you call the police anyway? You left him escape that easily?

Dean and Frank perplexed just stand stunned then again Dean replies.

Well, that’s absolutely weird! Sam, something’s really wrong with you!

Sam
What?!

Dean
Crowley’s a demon....what in hell the police’s supposed to do with him?

Sam
Are you serious?

Dean
what the hell is wrong with you?!!

Sam
Dean, this isn’t funny anymore. See you in the morning.

Sam heads to his bedroom to sleep meanwhile Dean turns to Frank still shocked by Sam’s behavior then he says to him.

What happened to him? Has he lost his mind?

Frank puzzled.

Maybe, a part of it....time to go to bed and tomorrow we’ll figure it out, what do you think?

Frank leaves Dean and heads to his bedroom meanwhile Dean stands still and yet he’s totally confused and worried.

Sleep how?! My brother lost his mind!!

In the morning of the following day, in the hall where Dean heads to and find Sam dressed in an elegant suit and drinking coffee while holding a newspaper in his other hand. Dean gazes at him confused and says.

Good morning.

Sam
Good morning

Dean
How are you today? Better?

Sam
Yeah, so much more better, just a simple headache.

Dean
Why are you in a suit? Going on a case?

Sam
Why aren’t you ready? You’re gonna be late for work.

Dean
What work?

Sam
Dean, some children vanished during this week, we’ve to find them. Take a look at the news.

Dean
Show me, what’s strange about their disappearance? Maybe they were just kidnapped or something.

Sam
Well, I also think they were kidnapped yeah, get yourself ready, we’re finding them.

Dean puzzled.

Sam, wait, they are just some kids that got kidnapped. Nothing here tells a squat about demons, ghosts or anything else of sorts. Why are we supposed to look for them?

Sam giggles then looks to Dean and surprised he replies.

Why did you say? Demons and ghosts? Dean are you alright?

Dean
What?!
At that moment Frank comes from the kitchen, holding a pie in his hand, takes a bite then says to Dean.

Yeah, the new version of Sam refuses to believe in demons and ghosts.

Sam
What’s wrong with both you today? You sound really weird!

Dean
Sam, you’re not well, you’re memory seemed screwed!

Sam
Well, I do feel that I can’t remember a thing or two. But, it’s okay, once I get to work, I’m gonna make it up.

Dean
Do you remember exactly what kinda job do we do?

Sam
Oh yeah, yeah, we’re FBI agents, and right now we’re getting late.

Frank laughs his guts out.

Fantastic! Are you married though?

Dean
Shut the hell up, Frank. Sam, do you recall how our mother died?

Sam
Why you’re asking me this? She died in a fire and it’s utterly disturbing you shouldn’t recall it anyhow.

Dean
Died in a fire? What about our father?

Sam
Dad, we were all three together in the car when it happened, a terrible accident, you and I we survived but dad, he couldn’t make it.

Dean
An accident?!...so you don’t remember that a demon killed him?

Sam
Dean, are you alright? There’s no such things as demons or ghosts.....now get yourself ready to work....and so should you, Frank....wait you outside.

Dean and Frank keep staring at one another stunned.

Dean’s driving the car and by his side sits Sam who’s holding the newspaper in his hand while Frank’s kept sitting at the back seat. Dean, and he’s running out of temper, says to Sam.

Where are we going to right now?

Sam replies while reading the newspaper.

To the house of the first victim, a seven years old kid, he was on a school trip when he got missing together with four of his friends.

Dean nervously

If you were really a federal agent, I mean for real, why would you be bearing an ID that has a name that’s not yours, hey look it doesn’t have your name on it, Sam.

Sam
I don’t know....I already told you, I’m a bit confused....can’t remember everything, but what I do remember is that we have work to do....hurry up the place’s far.

A few hours passed, now in the house of one of the missing kids, the kid’s mother together with his father are sitting devastated with Sam and Dean just in front of them, meanwhile Frank stands somewhere near them keeping an eye on both parents and the house as well. Sam utters to the lady.

Ma’am, your son’s missing together with four other kids. Are they his friends?

The mother who’s called Larina replies

Yeah, my son Danny has a lot of friends. They went together that trip. You’ve been searching them out for a whole week, please, I implore you tell me, is there any hope at reaching them?

The dad, Mr. Chris, proceeds

I went myself to that place and searched it well but with no use as though they vanished into thin air. That school’s supposed to be the best in the whole town, that’s what I call irresponsibility!

Sam
You think some gang or even some person could have kidnapped them on purpose?

The father
No one has called since then. It’s been a week since it happened and no one seemed to pay a call, if someone did that they would have already called but none. Do you think some maniacs did it? Would they be dead by now?

The mother
Oh, my God, please get back my son, I can’t even imagine something bad happening to him!

Frank
Did some argument take place between you before?

The father nervously

What do you mean? You mean he fled us!

Sam, in tempt of relieving tension that began to rise in the place, proceeds

He didn’t mean it, sir, all we want....

But Frank interrupts, carrying on with his ridiculous question while his suspicious eye’s still fixed on the man as he speaks.

No, I really meant it....you do seem worried and resented together with some anger masking it all, you do take it in mind, your son probably escaped home on purpose.

Sam and Dean both keep staring at the man awaiting for an answer but he remains silent while the mother claims.

Children at such age tend to do some really weird things! He’s been bent on collecting those freaking weirdo pieces all the time lately. It freaked us out a bit!

Frank
What pieces?

Chris, the kid’s father, anxiously

In the beginning, he lied to us, telling that his teacher commanded him to keep collecting those rare pieces, we learned later that he, together with his friends, had been doing the same. But we didn’t know where exactly they got them from. But they looked really ancient and covered in those figures....scary ones actually, it didn’t suit a kid of his age anyhow....for that I picked a fight with him a week before that trip and kept them all from him.
Dean
And the pieces, are they still with you?

Chris
Oh, yeah, they do, but what difference does it make?

Dean
We wanna take a look at them, please.

Chris stands up and replies.

Fine, I’m bringing ‘em.

The father leaves to fetch the strange pieces while the mother stays and she began muttering as she cries.

Please, find me my babe, I’m ready to give anything, pay you whatever you want just to get him back.

The father gets back holding in hand a box containing some small pieces of antiquities that did look scary...Frank and Dean keep looking through the pieces while Sam says while holding a piece of them.

These are just some old little antiquities. Do you really think that he might have escaped his school trip together with his folks in attempt of finding more of these?

Chris and his wife look utterly worried at each other then the woman proceeds crying as she tells.

Then what could have happened next? Lost his way searching for them, maybe? Our son’s lost now because of us then?

Sam, Dean and Frank all leave Chris and his wife’s house. Dean utters as he opens the car door.

Those pieces got ordinary paintings. Is it even possible that they could be magical spells or something?

Sam enters the car as he mutters.

Magic? Do you really mean magic like real magic? What do you think, we check the school, I guess they can tell us what’s going on.

Frank says as he so enters the car at the back seat.

Don’t think they’re enchanted. I pretty well distinguish magical things as soon as I see them.

Dean
Really? Are you an expert on that field?

Frank
Of course, I am. Those are just ordinary paintings. No magic is there, just believe that.

Dean mutters as he gets one of those pieces from his pocket and places it just in front of him in the car.

Well, I took one for myself anyhow. It’s better we make sure whether those freaking paintings are magical or not.

Sam
You stole it?!....how could you do that?

Frank
If you wanna make sure, fine we’ll find you some witch. But my guess is; those kids went on a search for more of these pieces and in doing so they got lost and so none could find them. It’s not our kinda work anyway....nothing supernatural is going on in here....

Sam stunned

You’re crazy....those kids are either kidnapped or lost...and we’re gonna find them without neither witches nor wizards...

Dean utters as he takes off with the car...

To the school then....

At the school, in the school principal office, and she’s a very elegant lady in an utterly luxurious office. She’ in her forties. She sits at her office wearing her eyeglasses and says.

The police are responsible now of looking for those kids among the forest. They already searched places pretty much far from those the kids had visited on the school trip. But still the five children were no where to be found. It’s been a week, and even if they’re out there somewhere, it’s nearly impossible for them to still be alive...

Dean
Ma’am, let me ask you this, how a school as big and respectful as yours got to lose five of its own kids that easy?

The principal
It’s wasn’t that easy, sir, our school respects its kids and even their parents; nothing like that has ever happened before....we feel sorry about it.....but that’s all we can do right now....

Sam
Ma’am, do you believe that kids could have some reasons to leave the trip?

The principal
Definitely, I mean it’s really what I think, after all, the five of them were very close friends.

Frank
Well, did anything seem weird about those kids lately?

The principal
What do you mean by “weird”?

Frank
I mean anything “extraordinary” that they seemed to do lately....remember, any small detail can in fact serve a lot...

The principal
They were just kids....all things kids do at such age are kinda weird at some point...

Sam
Maybe we should check the police station for help on our investigation then.....

Again the three of them leave, this time for the police station, meanwhile Dean seems a bit pissed at Sam and so he says.

What? Help the police in their search? Sam, this case’s nothing to do with us.

Sam
Dean, those kids went missing, it’s definitely ours.

Dean stops Sam and he’s utterly irritated to say.

Can’t you really realize how much screwed your mind’s now? Stop here, I’m talking to you....I don’t like this anymore, you need a doctor and I’m taking you to one now myself....you need examining, man.

Frank giggles then comments

And what exactly are you gonna tell him? My brother doesn’t believe in ghosts and demons anymore, please get him fixed?!

Dean
Got anything more to help?

Frank
Well, right now we need a witch to ask about that stone you have.

Sam
A witch? What the hell is wrong with you?!

Dean asking Frank

You already told that the paintings have nothing to do with magic.....you changed your mind or what?

Frank
I could be wrong....Look, I know a place to find one....and if those paintings are ordinary, then the case’s not ours anymore, no searching for the kids and we’re simply leaving home....we’ve to work on finding you the second mark, we’re running out of time...

Somewhere else....Sam, Dean and Frank all get to some great house, awaiting for someone in its hall, when Dean somehow surprised mutters to Frank.

This big house belongs to a witch?!

Frank
Yeah, her name is Sarah, a foreigner, for somewhere in the East, utterly wealthy, but she’s just a girl of twenty nine years old.

Dean
How did you know here?

Frank
Never knew here before. I just surfed the internet a couple of days ago and voila got to know about her.

Dean
Oh, barely forgot, how are your hunter friends now? Are they doing well in their training courses without you?

Frank
Not the perfect timing to argue about them and my work with them now, I guess, isn’t it?

Sam disturbed

I can’t stand this....not anymore. Now, we ought to be searching for the missing kids but instead look what’s happening! We’re literally waiting for some freak calling herself a witch?! I mean seriously, what the hell, how gets to believe that crap?!

At that moment, they hear the witch girl footsteps getting down the stairs and heading to the hall. She’s dressed in some ordinary clothes, quite nice looking, and she says.

Welcome, I’m Sarah, you asked to meet me?

Sarah gets a seat in front of them and then Frank proceeds.

Yeah, I already got to speak to you on the phone and told about some weirdo symbols. My best guess, they’re totally normal, nothing magical out of them but we thought it might be better to get some help.

Sarah
What’s your name again, sir?

Frank
It’s frank and those are my friends, Sam and Dean.

Dean
Give her the stone, Frank.

Franks hands over the stone to Sarah muttering

That’s it.....having some symbols you may.....

Sarah takes the stone from Franks’ hand and interrupts him claiming.

Now tell me, Frank, why should I help you?, I mean what do I get in return?

Dean
You want to be paid?! What for? All this wealth is enough, isn’t it?

Sarah
Better be careful about what you really do see....after all, you’re sitting by a witch! Maybe, there’s really nothing here and you’re simply imagining a palace or something!

Dean hesitates to the point that leads him to look around again and then he says.

What?! Is that even possible?

Sam mockingly

That’s nonsense....why can’t you just tell them all your deceitful lies already, we’ve much more important things to do and we must leave.

Frank and Dean get nervous after what Sam’s said and thus Frank, in tempt of trying to make for Sam’s words, mutters.

Please, forget his words, he’s a bit exhausted.

Sam
Yeah, I beg your pardon, quit considering turning me into a frog!

Sarah comments back

A frog?! Disgusting!

Then Sarah proceeds with a nice smile on her face kept drawn while she keeps looking at Sammy and his long hair.

Well, I did think about a horse more!

Dean stares shocked at Sam then looks back to Sarah and says.

Will you help us?

Sarah
You know, Dean, there are a lot of bizarre things just around you three, I can see and feel them, really creepy things. Naturally, all kinds of people get to meet me,....and even creatures as well.....but you, weird combination!

Dean comments back

Yeah, let me tell you this, I almost noticed you figured it out already, yeah I’m not human, I’m a demon, but it’s temporarily anyhow, not forever, got a problem with this?

Sarah takes a look at Dean then turns back to Frank, stare at him for a while, keeps silent for a few seconds, then again turns back to look at Sam and Dean telling.

I’ll help...but do recall that I did, and when it happens and I do need a favor in return on phone, you’ll do well to answer my quest.

Sam again tauntingly

On phone?! Is that the best you got? This is the most developed method of communication witches use nowadays?!

Sarah ignores Sam’s mockery and gives her comment about the stone without even glancing at it once again saying.

This stone is natural, nothing creepy about it, actually useless.

Dean
Natural?!....but five kids got missing that last week and they’d happened to be messing a lot with stones like that one at least give it a look once again.

Sarah
I can feel magic whenever I touch it. There’s nothing in here about this stone.

Dean
Can’t you just at least tell us where those kids might be? I mean you’re a witch after all.

Sam angrily jumps out of his place and says.

Well, that’s enough, we’re wasting time here.

Frank to Sam as he grips him from the arm compelling him to sit back.

Sit down, Sam, wait for a while.

Sarah
The kids, they’re somewhere in the forest, in a big and deserted house in that forest. Simply, the kids willingly got to the house but they’re still unable to get out of it, got stuck in it.

Sam furiously disapproves

What?!

Dean
How did you know that?

Sam
Dean, are you really asking?

Sarah the witch

That house’s dangerous, it had first been inhabited by a woman together with her husband, they’d had no kids and when they’d been still alive, they’d been truly murderous, they’d used to kill whoever had gotten across and feed upon them, after a long while, they died, but their souls remained stuck in the place as ghosts, kidnapping whoever dare to step a foot in their place. First, they get to feed them but then, after a while, they feed upon them.

Sam anxiously

What?! This is ridiculous! And where do they get the food from as long as they’re just some freaky ghosts?!

The witch
No idea, a lot of mysteries involve the ghosts and their houses, Sam, things like these are really very common.

Dean
That’s good, then we’ve to find those corpses and get them burned to waste them

The witch
But be aware, it won’t be that easy, that house belonged once to alive serial killers. How do think they’re gonna be like as dead?! Much worse of course.

Dean
Frank, could you please show us the way?

Sarah takes some tiny stone from one of the antiquities she possesses by her right side and then wraps it turning it into a small map and then says.

It’s here, the address you need, on the map.

The three look overwhelmed by what Sarah’s just done with the stone then Frank takes the map and mutters.

It’s been a week, is there a chance the kids could still be alive?!

Sarah
They still are, but right now, they’re weak and scared, and for that if you just leave for them now, you could actually succeed at getting them out alive.

The four of them stand up when Dean tells her.

That was great, perhaps we could pay you another visit to ask for some other help.

Sarah with a grin replies.

Try, if you managed to find my palace where it once was, then we’ll meet again, take this stone, it’s useless.

Dean stretches his arm to get the stone from Sarah but once he did and touched her hand to take it.

Ah...

Sarah almost goes unconscious, Dean holds her from the ground and supports her till sitting her on a chair and telling as he sits down by her side on the floor while Sam and Frank watch.

What’s wrong? Are you alright?

Sarah hardly manages to get her eyes open then keeps gazing at Dean with utter bewilderment and confusion and then murmurs.

What are you?!

Dean shocked

Told you, I’m a demon, but it’s only a matter of time....

Sarah sharply keeps her eyes fixed on him and comments back.

Not that.

Frank
Did you see something?

Sarah
You must die!....you have to kill him.

Dean stunned

What?

Frank grins

We almost did, but he’s a demon, he’ll just come back anyhow.

Dean angrily

why do they have to kill me?

(Sarah)

_ you'll not be able to sacrifice, you will not sacrifice, so you should die.
(Dean scared)

_ …. I'm gonna be a human again we …

(Dean gets scared, Sarah says)

_ it's not because you are demon, I saw a terrible things, what you will do is bigger than the king of hell, you will be a human and cause us death, all of us.

(Dean)

_ what you mean not because I'm a demon??

(Sam)

_ Dean you believe this crap? Come on let's leave.

Sarah
It’s not about you, it’s about the destruction you’ll cause....you’re gonna bring a mass destruction....how is that even possible for just a single man like you?! How can you cause all that ruin? Your hand’s filled with a lot of blood and the events, I can tell them.

Dean gets worried then stands nervously telling.

I won’t stay a demon forever, I know that I’ve got the king of hell at my ass trying to manipulate me into doing horrible things but....

Sarah stands up in rage and tells him

What I already saw is much bigger that what the king of hell might think of doing. You’re right, you’re not staying a demon for so long, you’re turning back human, but you’ll be the key to our utter demise.....get out of my house, I don’t want you here, next time when I meet you again as human, I’m gonna kill you, you have to die.

Dean keeps looking at Sarah scared and puzzled while Sam says.

Come on, Dean, let’s go.

Outside, the three of them after leaving Sarah’s house direct to the car. Dean’s utterly quiet while Sam steams in nervousness saying.

Believe me now? She said kill him....this psycho witch told me to kill my brother.....that was crazy....we shouldn’t have come here and waste our time in the first place.

Frank
Now, we’ve got the map, let’s find the kids....something supernatural did reveal after all.

Sam
What map? She talked about ghosts!....do you really believe in those stupid myths?

Frank
Didn’t you see it all yourself, how she happened to make us the map? If you’re really into finding those innocent kids, you’re gonna have to follow her lead.....Dean, you’re so quiet, what’s up?

Dean leans against the car then mutters.

Wanna know if she’s honest....we’re heading to that place she mentioned.

Sam
Now, that’s great, we’re really gonna believe a freaking witch!

Dean snaps out nervously at Sam’s face.

Sam, this is our life whether you do remember it or not, we’ve been living this life since mom died, among witches, ghosts and even demons, so you’re gonna have to listen to this, get in the car and head immediately toward that place the chick mentioned, we’re gonna have to save those kids whether you take or not, so get in the car and shut the hell up.

Frank
How, man, chill up! Why’s this wrath?

Dean
Why is this wrath? Didn’t you just listened to what she told me inside? You really didn’t notice how the woman freaked out just for touching my hand? What she told was horrible!

Sam
She’s a wizard, Dean! It’s her job to tell lies.

Dean
Sam, not your time, mate, know what, let’s go.

In the car, while Sam, Dean and Frank head to the forest intending on finding the lost kids, Frank, who’s sitting at the back seat claims while going through the laptop opened on his lap.

This place is far from the place the trip headed to; looks like the kids really went too far.

Dean
If the map’s right, and we’re really heading in the right direction to them, so this obviously explains why the police couldn’t find their trails; they searched the wrong place then.

Sam
Still can’t believe how that witch managed to make you that map anyhow?! But still think it’s crap anyway; finding a house in such place’s impossible. It’s a freaking forest!

Dean
Exactly, it is. For that, we’ve to find ourselves somewhere here to park the car then head on foot till we find the damn place.

Sam disapproving

Dean, it’s almost sunset, you really do mean it?! I mean get into the forest at such time! That’s insane!

Frank
You’re the one who wanted to find the kids, Sam.

Sam
Yeah, sure, I still want to but without sorcery and magic!

Dean
Here, we’re gonna stop here.

After a while, in the forest, the three of them walking among its trees each with his small luggage while Frank’s the one holding the map then Sam mutters.

Was it really that necessary to carry all these bags with us?! Is it a war or something?!

Dean
Don’t know what we’re facing, Sammy, we’ve to be ready, weirdos can be found anywhere.

Sam sarcastically

Weirdos then?! Like demons or monsters for example?!

Frank laughs and says.

You’re brother still can’t believe in demons while you, Dean, is a one yourself, IRONIC! Why don’t you show him your pitchy dark eyes?

Dean stops angrily

That’s not funny!

Frank
Well, at least it is to me. Now, Dean, maybe it’ll work with his amnesia.

Sam
Amnesia?! My brother’s a demon?! What’s the hell wrong with you both?!

Dean
A demon and an angel at the same freaking time. Better now?

Frank walks just behind Sam and Dean and comments back.

Of course, maybe Cas’s presence would even help more if he soars around for a little while in front of Sam till he remembers, or hey, I do have some holy water in storage, spattering your face could help a bit, you know, getting your skin smoking could also improve the case.

Dean
Frank, shut the hell up, just keep looking on the map, once we get those kids back, we could start dealing with Sam’s memory.

Sam stops and nervously shrieks

Well, that’s really enough, I could have actually lost a bit of my memory and yeah, maybe I could be a little confused and can’t figure out the damn things happened to me in details but I’m not crazy, there’s no such things as demons or ghosts or even witches! Thus, please stop mocking me and making use of the situation.

At that moment both Dean and Frank keep gazing at Sam silently, and shock reveals clear on their faces. Dean breaks the silence and mutters to Sam pointing backwards.

Sam ….

Sam surprised

What?

Dean

Behind you …..

Sam turns backward to find a very big house, then turns back to Dean and Frank and in bewilderment he utters.

What is that?!

Frank
Whatever it is....it’s incredible....

Dean
And damn scary as well...

Sam
What’s going on here? That house wasn’t here just a short while ago!

Dean
Maybe, it was just disguised, we’ve to be utterly cautious if we were to get inside that damn place, what if we get lost inside just like those kids within?!
Sam
How get lost?! Let’s get to it, maybe we’ll find them somewhere in.

Sam, Dean and Frank cautiously open the door and slowly but carefully enter the place and head to the hall which was really big in a place that was too dull and gloomy. Then Frank mutters to Sam.

Believe it now? Look around you, Sam, creepy, isn’t it?

Sam
Still can’t figure out how it just happened to appear all of a sudden though! But some logical explanation must exist, just can’t find it yet!

Frank
Of course there is one, how about ghosts, for starters, demons, angels or whatever supernatural crappy stuff around!

Sam
Or, it was just the fog that smudged the place behind!

Dean crying out for the kids to answer.

Hey,....anybody here? The place’s so gloomy, I’ll switch on my flashlight.

Dean turns to his flashlight to get it switched on but nothing he does got it lit.

Frank
What’s wrong? Is it wrecked?

Dean
No, it’s not, just not switching on in here, I guess this place’s haunted by some very crappy ghosts.

Sam
Yeah, that’s right, been haunted for thousands of years, ghosts keeping flying their asses up in the air everywhere just waiting for whoever comes in to eat them. This is ridiculous, don’t need your flashlight, I’m getting in and searching for the kids, not ‘cause they’re really here of course, but just to make my point, nothing exists in here.

Dean
Wait here, you’re not going anywhere alone!

Sam moves ahead forward uttering.

Watch me.....I’ll prove it to you.

Dean
Sam, wait, we’re in this together, we’re coming with you.

Frank
Just hold on a second, you both, how we’re finding our way in anyway in that darkness?

Sam
Look at that dirt and dust everywhere. The kids couldn’t have been here, that’s impossible!

The three of them go through the house thoroughly, finish the hall to get to a long passageway, where they keep walking with no source of light but the mere beams of light coming from the moon, that strike the house through some of the tiny windows in there. Sam is in the front, Dean’s just behind him, and Frank is in the back who, all of a sudden, happens to stop and shriek.

Guys, wait.....something is crawling on my shoulder!

Dean
What? Wait to see!

Sam sarcastically

Be careful, Dean, could be a creeping ghost!

Frank panicked

Stop being a dick, Sam, I’m freaked as hell!

Dean gets closer to Frank trying to tell what’s really on Frank’s shoulder then mutters.

Don’t be! Most probably, it’s a spider.

Frank
Spider?! No, no, no.....cast it away now, Dean.

Dean
Wait till I see it first, pal.

Sam
Hey, Dean, it’s not a spider....

Dean turns to Sam wondering.

What do you think is then?

Sam
It’s a ghost, a spider’s one....one who happened to live here for thousands of years and he got himself married to one of his kind and as she died, he followed her out of grief and he’s here now searching for her creepy ghost.

Dean
When we’re finished I’m gonna punch you in the head! I’m giving you a one you’ve never had before, Sam, I promise you that.

Frank yelling

Dean, please, it’s moving, do something.....

Dean, with the not-working flashlight in his hand, tosses the spider away from Frank’s shoulder and says.

I dashed it away, now let’s go.

The three keep moving their way through the long dim passageway quietly and slowly and Sam’s still in the front. Suddenly, a shut door appears just in front of them, Sam nervously comments out in a sarcastic way.

So, what’s then? Now we’ve finished the passageway, do you really still think such kids are capable of reaching to such a long passageway?

Dean
Open the door, Sam, we’ve to learn what’s behind.

Sam tries to get it open, but it won’t, so he turns back angrily to both Frank and Dean muttering.

It’s closed, seems like that since a thousand years ago, let’s get the hello out of here, it’s really getting more silly! No kids do exist in such place!

But as he keeps his back turned to them, the door behind him gets open, and just behind him a lady’s ghost reveals with her hair covering her face and with a husky scary voice she says.

There are no kids in here....get out.....GET OUT.....

Sam
Exactly, this is my point....there are no kids an.....

Dean and Frank keep gazing at what’s behind Sam stunned unable to spell a word meanwhile Sam stares back at Frank and Dean in bewilderment. Then panicked he mutters.

There’s.....there’s.....something at my back....

Frank, not even blinking, looking dazed.

Yeah, well, it’s just a ghost...

Dean
Maybe it’s time to run in the opposite direction...

The three hurries out away from the ghost toward the passageway back again screaming as they do.

Ahhh....

Frank
Dean, why to run? Don’t you have salt?

Dean
It’s in the bag....but I freaking much can’t see anything.

The ghost following them utters.

Get out.....get out of here....

Sam turns around to watch the ghost, again he sees it as he looks back so he assures himself that it was there but still can’t believe what’s happening....he stumbles and falls to the ground.

Dean turns back to Sam, rushes towards his brother, holds his hand to get him up on his feet, telling him.

Sam, stand up, now....

Sam anxiously keep gazing terrified at the ghost and says.

Dean.....a gho....a ghost....

Frank
Move....

Dean
Frank, get the salt out of your bag....

Frank opens his bag trying to get the salt out when another ghost reveals just behind him. He’s a pale man’s ghost, creepy and scary, Sam and Dean see it at Frank’s back.

Dean
Frank, behind you.

Before Frank manages to turn around toward the ghost, the ghost tossed him aside and Frank’s body falls by Sam’s side who’s still on the ground trying to get on his feet.

Frank
Ah, you Dean, get some salt from your own bag, quickly

The three got trapped between the two ghosts. Dean opens his bag as quick as he could be and gets the salt out then spatters them with it so they vanish.

Sam
What the hell was that?! Ghosts?

Frank
Just what we were desperately trying to explain to you!

Sam
No...no...can’t be....it’s just a trick....or some kids’ ghost-y place! Something tricky is going on!

Frank to Dean
Look, still doubting it!

Dean
Hey, you both, get to your feet to move, let’s get back to that door; time to find what’s behind.

Frank
You’re kidding me?! Ghosts bust their asses out of it!

Dean
Which means their corpses are also in there, gotta find them and toast them to ash. The kids are probably there too.

The three of them start moving toward the door once again at the end of the passageway, till they reach it, get to the place behind, which is also a passageway till they reach somewhere else, somewhere having a river filled with blood and bony creepy and scary giant skeletons. The three keep gazing at the river for a while then Sam utters.

What’s that?! Is that blood?!

Frank
Look at its end over there, the kids!

Frank points toward a chamber at the end of the blood river, a chamber that has a dining table for the kids surrounded by chairs to which the kids are chuckled and just in front of each of them on the table food is placed, the kids seem exhausted, they look almost asleep.

Dean
The ghosts are probably keeping the kids to feed and fatten them.

Frank
What to do next?

Dean
Must cross the river to set them free, come back across it again then get the hell out.

Sam
We can’t do that, Dean, look at the river! It has nothing but those bones and skeletal fragments, would we just jump across them or what?

Dean
Yeah, exactly what we’re gonna do, must set those kids free or else they’re dying there!

Frank
But what about the ghosts?! They’re certainly following us if we did.

Dean
Every one of us holds a salt pack and whenever one of those sons of bitches come across, splash them in the ass, now, make your move on those bones.

Sam
This night! I’m never gonna get over it in my whole life! Can’t believe I’m doing this!

Dean
We’ve already faced a thousand nights even worse than this one, Sam, but right now, you can’t seem to remember them.

The three keep trying to get across those bones and fragments in the blood river cautiously and highly alerted while till terrified till they reach the opposite bank. They free the kids and take them out then Frank says.

How did you get to this place, boys?

One of the kids
Got lost in the forest, were looking for stones, please, get us out of here, this place’s filled with ghosts!

Dean
Yeah, we figured this out! Now, move, we’ve to go across those bones jumping till we reach the other bank back.

The three of them get back through the river together with the freed kids till they safely reach the other side. Only then that Dean says.

Now, let’s get the hell out of here!

Frank
Now, kiddos, let’s go!

The three keep going together with the kids through the passageway they headed towards before in tempt of getting out, but during their way out, the two ghosts they met before keep angrily following them. They all keep running quickly while spattering them with salt till they eventually manage to get out. Tediously, they flee the house, busting themselves out away from the creepy followers.

Outside the haunted house, Sam, Dean and Sam together with the five kids stand. They’re utterly exhausted and terrified then they gradually find their way even more and more away from the place. They keep walking through the dim night heading back toward the car. The kids keep slowly walking worn out but steady then Frank says.

That house is damned! Maybe, we just had to burn it down for anyone else not to get hurt anymore.

Dean
Can’t do this! It’s a miracle we busted out alive! What’s important now is to get those kids back to their families then immediately leave before anyone starts asking questions we can not answer like where we found them and such stuff!

Frank turns back but sees the house no more so he says.

Guys, it vanished once again!

The whole lot look back but see nothing.

Sam
Got covered with the fog maybe!

Dean
Again with the fog?! Really?! Tell me now, ghosts don’t exist!
Sam
Don’t know what we just confronted in there, but certainly it’s just a joke from some very silly dick, maybe, someone got to build that house with some visual tricks to scare whoever sets a foot inside. Now, once we get back home and take some rest, we’re gonna figure out how overrated this night was.

Dean
Yeah, overrated, we saw no ghosts, just freaking imagining it!

Frank
Now kids, let’s go.

Sam
Move on, guys, tell your parents nothing about seeing ghosts or stuff; there’s no such thing as ghosts. You all do realize that those were nothing but visual tricks.

Dean stops for a while and nervously take a look around as though he’s looking for something thus the rest just stop and look at him when Frank asks him.

Dean, looking for something?

Dean grabs up a strong, thick branch fallen from a tree then mutters.

Yeah, looking for this!

Sam
What you’ll do with this?

Dean, firmly with whatever power he does have, hits Sam with it on the head as he replies.

This...this is what I’m doing.....can’t bear you without your freaking mind any longer.....

Sam drops down knocked out on the ground.

Ah....

Frank
What have you done? Are you out of your mind?

Dean
The sole solution we’ve got! He lost his mind because of Crowley’s hit now he’s getting back what he lost by some other knock on the head.

Frank bothered.

Look...now, we’re gonna have to carry him back!....couldn’t you just wait a little till at least we’ve reached the car?!

Dean
As a matter of fact....I couldn’t....couldn’t bear tolerating him anymore.

A short while passed, Sam, Dean, Frank and the kids have reached the car, Sam of course still knocked out while put in the car, Sam and Frank drop the kids off to their city then immediately head back home while Sam’s still asleep. They reach home, get Sam to his bed and on the following day in the morning, in the hall....

Sam
Ah, my head! Why did you hit me that badly?!

Dean
Honestly, you had it coming, look, now you’re back to your mind!

Frank
Do you remember what happened, Sam?

Sam
Yeah, I do, very well indeed, find it a bit weird how I couldn’t believe in ghosts though!

Dean
Now tell me, Sam, are you telling this to avoid getting some other hit on the head once again? Or you actually got your memory back and do remember all that ghost-y stuff we deal with?

Sam
Dean, don’t be dumb, of course I do remember it all.

Dean
Oh well, that’s good, which means now we’re gonna have to discuss it all, we’re gonna talk about what you did.

Sam
What did I do?

Dean
Your deal with Crowley wasn’t just about your soul in return, you sold me out!

Sam
Didn’t know about it, Dean, I didn’t lay an eye on that contract.

Dean
Well, it’s alright, right now we’re having a bigger fish to fry.

Frank
Which is what exactly?

Dean
Sarah, the witch, told about a great mess I’ll cause, she said that I’m gonna slay you all. She also told that I won’t be able to sacrifice. Why is that anyway? What the hell did she mean?

Frank
Maybe, she just messed up! Maybe, it was all about what you could have endured if you happened to be Crowley’s puppet.

Sam
Yeah, but she said he’ll do such stuff as human! Not as a demon!

Frank
Yeah, I know, but most probably she just messed up a little bit, believe me, don’t worry, we’re finding those other marks and Dean’s back human as soon as possible, none of those threats is gonna happen!

Dean
What about the marks then? Have you found a new one?

Frank
Yeah, I did, I found a new one, get yourselves ready, we’re getting it.
